The Sixth China-Japan Joint Seminar for the Graduate Students in Civil Engineering

The benefits of this China – Japan Joint Seminar are enormous as it would be possible for professors and students to share their ideas and experience in civil engineering, and it is also very helpful to strength the friendship between Nagasaki University and Shandong University of Science and Technology.

This seminar has been successfully held for five times since 2013. In 2025, the 6th China - Japan Joint Seminar for the Graduate Students in Civil Engineering will be held in Nagasaki University, Japan. The topics of this seminar are mainly concerned as follows:

1. Geotechnical Engineering

2. Ground Treatment and Improvement

3. Management and New Technique Application in Civil Engineering

4. Hydraulic Engineering

5. Structure Engineering

6. Environmental Engineering

7. Safety Engineering

The seminar covers the areas above, but is not limited to those areas.

Call for Papers

Papers addressing the seminar topics are warmly invited. Please submit an abstract of 100-150 words in English with 3-6 keywords that are relevant to the subject of your paper to the seminar secretariat before August 20, 2025. The abstract must include: Title of the paper, Name of the author(s), affiliation(s), E-mail address, and should be processed with Microsoft Word. About 10 excellent papers from Shandong University of Science and Technology are encouraged in Oral Presentation in Nagasaki University.
